Family Camp

We offer a small number of residential family camps for adoptive families. We see this program as an adjunct to the home program and the summer day camp experience, enabling parents to learn and develop new skills, and to share experiences with other adoptive parents.

Our team of professionals includes - in addition to the ICD personnel - Theraplay specialists (see Resources), massage therapists, grief/loss counselors, and occupational therapists. Our family camps run from Friday evening until Sunday evening, and are held at Camp Carter just west of downtown Fort Worth.
