Home Programs

We engage in a small number of intensive home programs with families who have adopted children with special social-emotional needs. During these programs, one or more of us typically spends 2-3 days living with the family, coaching parents and professionals about the principles and practices of a successful home program.

The Institute of Child Development is now launching a major research effort to study processes of change during this promising home-based program.
